New survey found 63% believe that women in the workforce are disproportionately affected by childcare provision

A new survey published by Cork Chamber has revealed stark gender disparities when it comes to childcare and its impact on staff.

The report found that almost two-thirds of respondents either agreed or strongly agreed that childcare disproportionately impacts women in the workforce, with almost one quarter citing that the availability and affordability of childcare provision is affecting staff.
