In its latest report for January, Limerick Chamber said rental supply issues have continued into 2024, despite a slight increase in available homes.

Average rental prices across Ireland's mid-west have surged in the last 12 months, resulting in an additional expenditure of around €4,000 for new renters. 

Latest findings from Limerick Chamber's rental monitor reported a 27% increase in rental prices year-on-year, with a slight rise in available accommodation doing little to alleviate surging costs.
