Airlines welcome new UK travel rules but urge Government to go further

Easyjet CEO Johan Lundgren called for an end to the testing of vaccinated travellers from low-risk countries (PA)

Airlines have welcomed the UK Government’s scrapping of the amber travel list but said the changes do not go far enough.

Thomas Cook has described the streamlining of the traffic light system as “a shot in the arm for the travel industry” while airline bosses have urged ministers to go further by eliminating testing for vaccinated travellers.
