Revolut has confirmed some of its Irish customers have been affected by at data breach at a US broker, the second time a breach at an "unauthorised third party" has affected some of its customers.

Revolut has confirmed some of its Irish customers have been affected by at data breach at a US broker used by the digital bank, the second time a breach by an "unauthorised third party" has affected some of its customers.

The data breach confirmed on Thursday involves DriveWealth, a US broker that provides US stock trading services for Revolut customers. DriveWealth provides execution and clearing services for Revolut customers who use an optional US stock trading feature. DriveWeatlh holds customer information in order to carry out and settle those trades and for US regulatory compliance.
