Housebuilder reports group revenues of €239.7m for first half of 2026

Glenveagh Properties expects to complete 2,900 homes in Ireland this year after raising upwards its target, the company said on Thursday, as it announced group revenues of €239.7m for the first half of 2026.

Group operating profit was €13.4m, down considerably from €42m a year previously but Glenveagh said this was consistent with its weighted delivery profile and the revenue mix in the period.

"The first half of 2026 reflects continued disciplined execution of our long-term strategy. Our homebuilding order book is well-positioned, supported by new site launches delivering impressive sales rates with robust demand across all our existing selling developments," said Glenveagh chief executive Stephen Garvey. "The partnerships business continues to grow at scale, cementing Glenveagh as the partner of choice for the State in delivering the homes Ireland needs."

The housebuilder upgraded the forecast for the number of homes it will deliver by 150. All 2,900 homes which will be finished this year are already sold, contracted, or reserved, the company said. This includes 1,700 homes single family homes through its own developments and 1,200 homes in its partnership division included projects with the State, which includes apartments.

The company upgraded its earnings per share by at least 21%. It also doubled a share buyback programme to €100m.
