New €40m Maldron opens for business at Croke Park

Dalata Hotel Group are Championship-ready after opening its new €40m 200-room property beside Croke Park on Thursday.
The new Maldron Hotel Croke Park is located at the junction of Clonliffe Road and Jones’ Road, directly opposite Croke Park Stadium, and creates 80 new jobs. The hotel comes on stream just as the GAA Championship gets into full swing.

We are proud to further strengthen our presence in the city with the opening of the Maldron Hotel Croke Park today, just as the GAA Senior Championship gets underway," said Dalata chief executive Dermot Crowley. "The addition of this hotel represents another important step in Dalata’s continued growth journey, as we invest in high‑quality assets in key strategic markets."
Dalata now operates 27 hotels with 4,618 guest rooms across Ireland and the UK. The Maldron Croke Park features four meeting rooms, a fitness suite, bar and restaurant. The project marks Dalata's first hotel with zero on-site carbon emissions.
The new hotel was delivered in partnership with design and build contracting company McAleer & Rushe who were responsible for delivery of the Doyle Collection Croke Park Hotel 20 years ago.
