Payments platform Stripe, founded by Irish billionaires Patrick and John Collison, is arranging a tender offer that would give the payments giant a valuation of at least $140bn (€118.47bn), according to a person familiar with the matter, a jump of more than $30bn from its most recent value.
Investors said Stripe was worth $107bn in a deal last year. Terms of the latest tender offer could change, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing private information.
