IT services and consulting company Origina will create 350 new jobs as it expands its Irish operations, the company announced on Monday.

Origina is headquartered in Dublin and specialises in independent software support and maintenance for vendors including IBM, HCL, and VMware. The new roles will span disciplines including software engineering, security, data and AI, and enterprise technology operation.

The Origina expansion is expected to deliver up to €28m to the Irish economy. “I am delighted to announce Origina’s significant expansion in Ireland, with the creation of 350 new jobs at our new global headquarters in Dublin, made possible with the support from Enterprise Ireland. This investment in our Irish operations reflects our ambition to grow and scale the company over the next five years," said chief executive Tomás O'Leary.

Enterprise, tourism, and employment minister Peter Burke said the announcement reinforces Ireland's position as "one of the largest and most important tech hubs in Europe. I would like to commend Origina on this milestone expansion and their continued investment in Ireland, which I’m confident will underpin further growth for the company while supporting our economy.”

Origina said it is investing in a larger, technology-forward Dublin office based in Sandyford, which will serve as a central hub for product development, innovation, and collaboration. Ireland will continue to act as Origina’s strategic base for delivering services and innovation to enterprise customers globally, supporting the company’s continued growth across Europe, North America, and other international markets.

Origina has also just launched a new predictive software security product powered by a proprietary AI engine.
