Rory McIlroy management company chips in with profits of $5.4m

A company which looks after management services for Irish golf superstar Rory McIlroy has recorded net profits of more than $5.4m (€4.6m), down from $6.4m (€5.5m) in 2023.
Rory McIlroy Management Services is responsible for managing the royalty earnings and management fees for the Holywood golf star, who claimed a seventh Race to Dubai crown earlier this month, marking his as the number one player on the DP World Tour, despite losing a play-off in the season-ending World Tour Golf Championship. Earlier in the season he completed a career grand slam as he picked up his first Masters crown.
In 2024, Mr McIlroy won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, the Wells Fargo Championship, and the DP World Tour Championship. He also picked up the Seve Ballesteros Award after being voted player of the year on the DP World Tour in 2024. Mr McIlroy earned more than $21m in prize money during the 2024 season.
In 2024, profits for the financial year at Rory McIlroy Management Services amounted to $5,426,835, from $6,466,115 a year previous. The company had turnover of $35,403,614 (€30,697,057), coming from royalties of $34,646,877, and management fees of $756,737.
Operating profits in 2024 stood at $9,483,191.Â
Staff costs at Rory McIlroy Management Services stood at $2,327,761. The company had seven employees, five directors and two administrators. Directors' renumerations stood at 1,624,435, from 4,765,227 in 2023. The directors of the company are Mr McIlroy, his father Gerry McIlroy, his agent Sean O'Flaherty, Peter Crowley, and Neill Hughes. Mr Crowley and Mr Hughes founded Dublin-based investment boutique FL Partners in 2006.
