The new Wendy's restaurant opens in Mahon Point Shopping Centre in Cork on Tuesday, the restaurant chain's first location in Ireland under a partnership with Corrib Oil.

Ireland's first Wendy's restaurant opens in Mahon Point Shopping Centre in Cork on Tuesday, the chain's first location under a partnership with Corrib Oil.

The restaurant will create 50 jobs, and opens at 10.30am on Tuesday morning. Over the coming years, Corrib plans to open 10 Wendy’s locations across the country as both standalone Wendy’s restaurants and Wendy’s locations at Corrib Oil service stations, creating more than 300 jobs nationwide. Further Wendy’s locations in Ireland will be announced in due course.
