Revenue at C&C Group down 4% as distribution business drops

Core brands such as Bulmers and Tennent’s producer delivered solid performances.
Drinks company C&C Group has announced a 4% drop in net revenue during the first half of its financial year as a result of lower distribution income and the planned exit of some lower margin businesses.
The company said its core brands such as Bulmers and Tennent’s delivered solid performances in the six months to August 31 with both achieving revenue growth.
