EU Commissioner Michael McGrath opens Tesco's new €20m superstore in Fermoy 

Tesco Commercial Director Joe Manning, Fermoy Municipal District chair Cllr Frank O’Flynn, store manager Damien Geraghty, EU Commissioner Michael McGrath, Tesco retail director Paul Healy were joined by staff and members of the Fermoy Men’s Club Choir at the opening of the company's new Fermoy store.

Supermarket giant Tesco has brought its store count in Cork to 13 with the opening of a new €20m store in Fermoy. 

EU Commissioner Michael McGrath officially opened the store located just off Mill Road and Courthouse Road in the town, which will employ 100 people.
