Shares in Irish building materials distributor and DIY retailer Grafton fell on Thursday after the firm said it is not expecting "significant" increase in volumes this year as global macroeconomic uncertainty continue to affect trading in its European operations.

For the six months ended June 30, Grafton's group revenue rose 10.1% to £1.25bn (€1.45bn), in line with management expectations.
