Two-thirds of Irish adults prefer paying by card than using cash
Safety, security, and convenience were all cited as the main reasons Irish consumers prefer using cards for payments.
Nearly two-thirds of Irish adults would rather pay for products and services using a card rather than cash with many citing safety, security, and convenience, new research by Payments Europe has found.
The report shows that 73% of Irish consumers trust cards over all other payment methods with 55% saying they believe cards are the best payment method when considering safety and security.
