Dairygold to cut 70 jobs in €14m cost-cutting programme

These cuts include manufacturing and operational efficiencies, organisational restructuring and the rationalisation of third-party expenditure.

The Cork agri-business firm said the job cuts will be achieved through a combination of natural attrition, redeployments and some voluntary redundancies.

Dairygold is to cut 70 positions over the next three years as it seeks to make €14m in cost savings.

The board of the agri-food business has approved the implementation of a Business Optimisation Programme that will run over a three-year period to 2027.
