Origin Enterprises reports first-half profits up 17% to €14.9m but turnover declines

Sean Coyle, Origin Enterprises chief executive, said profits were up 17.1% to €14.9n for the six months up to January 31.

Irish multinational agricultural services group, Origin Enterprises, has announced profits up 17.1% to €14.9m for the six months up to January 31, despite group revenues declining 2.7% to €831.7m.

The year-on-year revenue decline of 2.7% was driven mainly by lower global feed and fertiliser prices.
