Positive pricing and a strong Americas market saw Irish building materials giant CRH post rises in revenue and earnings in the three months from July and September, with the company reaffirming its guidance for the full year.

Total revenues increased by 4% to $10.5bn (€9.76bn) in the three month period, while its adjusted earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda) grew by 12% to $2.5bn (€2.3bn).
