Cork City Council has electrified more of its fleet compared to any of its peers across the country, a new analysis has found, with 28% of its transportation comprising electric vehicles.

Launching its second annual research insights into local authorities' adoption rates of EV's, Geotab found that the majority of local authorities are still failing to lead the way in the zero emissions transition, with only five out of the 27 organisations that participated in the research having electrified more than 8% of their fleets.
