Less than 30% of Irish organisations have implemented robust cyber resilience in their business, a new survey by PwC has found, with Irish firms falling "well behind" global peers. 

Publishing its 2025 Digital Trust Insights survey on Wednesday, the professional services firm said Ireland's lag behind global counterparts could lead to significant disruptions in the future, with the estimated cost of the average data breach exceeding €3m.
