Despite the impact on revenue, the company saw an uptick in demand as the year progressed, particularly in key categories such as kitchens, bedrooms, and children. 

Ikea Ireland saw its retail sales fall by more than 2% last year following a series of price cuts throughout the business, the furniture giant said on Thursday. 

Retail sales for Ikea Ireland totalled €246m for the 2024 financial year, reflecting a 2.4% decrease on the €252m posted in 2023.
