Yuno adds gas supply to its existing electricity offer

Yuno Energy entered the Irish market in August 2023.

New entrant to Ireland's energy market Yuno is to enter the gas supply market in addition to the electricity supply.

Since its launch a year ago, Yuno Energy said it has won 30,000 customers across the country. In an update Monday, Yuno said it will supply gas at 8.23c per unit which is said was the cheapest price in the market. The company offers electricity at 23.96c per unit.

The company said that based on average usage of 4,200kWh for electricity and 11,000kWh for gas, a customer who joins today can expect savings of up to €581 over the coming year on their electricity costs, €333 on their gas costs and €914 for both.

Yuno Energy is a separate business unit within Prepay Power, the pay-as-you-go energy provider with more than 180,000 electricity customers, 60,000 gas customers and over 400 staff.
