Whoop establishes Irish base in Limerick

Whoop has been based in Ireland for the past four years but its new offices at Gardens International on Henry Street will provide a dedicated hub for the company's Membership Services team.

US personal device firm Whoop is to establish a presence in Limerick where 50 employees will be based. 

The Boston company produces wearable fitness and health trackers and is valued at approximately $3.6bn (€3.2bn). Whoop has been based in Ireland for the past four years but its new offices at Gardens International on Henry Street will provide a dedicated hub for the company's Membership Services team.
