Irish mining company Kenmare said poor weather led to a sharp fall in materials shipments in recent months but this will likely be offset by demand and pricing above company expectations.
In a trading update, the company which operates one of the world’s largest ilmenite mines, Moma, in Mozambique, said total shipments by the end of June were 234,700 tonnes, plunging 18% on the same period a year earlier.
