Growing passenger traffic sees earnings at Shannon Airport Group rise to €21m

Group posted 12% rise in turnover, increasing to just under €68m

The CEO noted a 41% rise on Continental European traffic, increasing to 748,000, while UK traffic rose by 31%, totalling 838,000 in the same period.

Rising traffic levels and increased service offerings saw earnings at the Shannon Airport Group surge by 27% in 2023, rising to more than €21m in the year.

Noting a "strong financial performance," the group posted a 12% rise in turnover last year, increasing to just under €68m as passenger numbers surged to levels not seen since 2009.
