EirGrid chief executive Mark Foley steps down

Mr Foley joined EirGrid as group chief executive in June 2018, and was previously managing director at the State forestry body Coillte.

EirGrid chief executive Mark Foley has stepped down from his role and the company has appointed Martin Corrigan to take his place while a formal selection process will commence shortly.

"Mark has been instrumental in leading EirGrid through a period of growth and change and managed the country’s grid network through some challenging times," said Brendan Tuohy, chairman of EirGrid.
