Ryanair links with Kyte to reach corporate customers
The Kyte deal is the latest the airline has struck with online brokers.Â
Ryanair has struck a deal with Kyte, best known for its car rental business, but the partnership is designed for the airline to tap corporate customers to sell them tickets.Â
The airline said the tie-up with Kyte would allow corporate travel brokers to buy tickets through the Ryanair site.Â
"We look forward to working further with Kyte over the coming years as Ryanair continues to grow to carry 300 million passengers per annum by 2034,” the airline said. Â
Kyte said the link would deliver Ryanair "a vast array of corporate travel partners" and technology "which effectively supports Ryanair’s content and functionality within their own web, mobile, and alternative portals for a seamless corporate customer experience".
Ryanair last month agreed to team up with online travel agent On the Beach, bringing an end to a long-running spat between the two companies over market competition.
The deal, coming four months after Ryanair accused the aggregator of issuing a “hypocritical press release” calling for fair play, allows On the Beach to list Ryanair flights on its website without markups.Â
The move marks Ryanair’s fourth online travel-agency deal this year and follows partnerships with Loveholidays, Kiwi.com and TUI. All of the accords have been made under similar conditions that customers are not overcharged for fares.Â
