Volume decline was largely driven by the SlimFast brand, which represents 9% of GPN revenue. Optimum Nutrition, which represents 62% of GPN revenue, delivered both volume and price growth in the period.

Nutrition giant Glanbia forecasted revenue and volume growth this year across its main divisions, despite another poor performance by its SlimFast product in the US as pharma companies dominate the weight loss market.
