Kingspan CEO Murtagh upbeat on 2024 despite falling revenues and price deflation

Kingspan chief executive Gene Murtagh expects a strong performance this year at the Cavan company.

Chief executive Gene Murtagh at Kingspan has signalled he expects a strong performance this year, hailing its "robust" finances and "strong" demand for insulation products, despite the company posting a 3% fall in global revenues in 2023.

The remarks come after Kingspan posted a 6% increase in net profit to €654m last year, even as revenues fell to €8.1bn after taking a hit from price deflation in many of the markets the company operates.
