Two Cork credit unions to merge following AGM vote

Two Cork credit unions have agreed to combine resources in response to a "modern need of consumers."

In its annual general meeting on Wednesday evening, Douglas Credit Union and Glanmire & District Credit Union voted in favour of a proposal to amalgamate, in a move they will offer members "improved services and stronger support in both communities."
