Occupli acquires Cork ambulance services and training business

Occupli, a health and safety training provider, has acquired Cork-based Elite Ambulance Emergency Training and Supplies and Elite Private Ambulance Service for an undisclosed sum.
Following a rebrand of the firm after 25 years in operation, Occupli, owned by Irish private-equity firm Erisbeg, purchased the private ambulance business that provides training, consultancy and supplies.
“Elite Ambulance share the same values as Occupli in putting safety to work for our clients while also offering a number of the same high-quality services,” said Occupli managing director of Martin Clancy.
Occupli said it plans to gradually integrate Elite Ambulance, assuming operational control over time working the current team to continue to grow the business.
“The acquisition of Elite Ambulance serves to strengthen the company’s offerings in the market, and emphasizes our commitment to scaling Occupli’s health and satefy training offering,” said Andrew Murphy of Erisbeg.
