Central Bank lifts PTSB block on paying dividends

Eamonn Crowley, CEO of PTSB said the removal of the block had been hard won.

PTSB has been cleared to resume paying dividends to shareholders.

The bank confirmed today that the Central Bank of Ireland (CBI) has lifted the 'dividend blocker' which prohibited it from paying dividends irrespective of the financial performance of the bank.
