Grafton Group expects profit to remain in line despite market challenges

Woodie’s and Chadwicks owner Grafton Group has said it remains on-track to deliver a full-year operating profit in line with expectations despite challenging more markets.

According to the company’s latest trading update for the period July 1 to October 31, Grafton Group said demand has been “more subdued” leading to a “marginal decline” in year-on-year average daily revenue “with modest price deflation experienced in the distribution businesses in Ireland and the UK”.
