“As the world increasingly returns to normal from the devastating pandemic, it is great to see Shannon Airport leading the way in Ireland," Air Service One commented following the results.

A new report has found Shannon Airport to be Ireland's best recovered airport with the first nine months of this year showing a 14% increase on 2019 passenger numbers. 

The analysis by global aviation publication, Air Service One also showed that Shannon posted a 5% increase in 2018 passenger numbers, exceeding its previous peak.
