Technology retail giant Currys is to create more than 1,100 permanent and temporary jobs as it gears up for the busy run-in to the end of the year.

Around 720 temporary jobs will be on offer across the firm’s stores in Ireland and the UK as well as 370 permanent positions and 120 driver roles.
