Aer Lingus doubles winter flights to Tenerife from Munster

Aer Lingus is to double its services from Cork to Tenerife for the upcoming winter season.
Aer Lingus currently operates a weekly flight to the popular Spanish island every Sunday from Cork Airport.
The additional service, which will operate every Thursday, will start on October 29 and run until the end of March 2016.
The announcement will mean an extra 7,000 seats for holidaymakers in Munster.
" It’s always an attractive sun destination for Irish people and is particularly popular for those travelling from the Munster region," said an airline spokesperson.
"Given the recent weather we’ve been experiencing here at home, it’s not surprising that we’ve seen an increase in bookings to the Canaries, where year-round sunshine is almost always guaranteed."
