James Murdoch survives BSkyB shareholder vote
James Murdoch avoided a revolt over his position on the board of BSkyB today, despite the media watchdog calling his "competence" and "attitude" into question.
Mr Murdoch was re-appointed as non-executive director at the group's annual meeting with the backing of 94.7% of shareholder votes, including abstentions, although nearly 20% of votes failed to back the company's pay report.
