Software group agrees €1m South African deal
The deal was signed in Johannesburg yesterday by eXpd8 chairman Declan Branagan.
EXpd8 is one of the 30 Irish firms on an Enterprise Ireland mission to SA being led by Enterprise Minister Micheál Martin.
The Irish company has been in operation six years, employs 22 people and last year turned over €3.5m, supplying software and computer back-up to hundreds of clients mainly in the Irish market.
But according to Mr Branagan the group is also expanding in Britain, while the deal in South Africa “has given considerable momentum to the group’ overseas expansion drive”.
At this point it supplies 10% of the legal market in Ireland which provides detailed back up to firms giving easy access to client files including billing that is clocked automatically once a client dials in.
The group provides file management and storage; management of all client information and multiple access to all staff members.
It also tracks all costs associate with each client while offering remote access capability to staff members.
The company provides remote solutions to law firms, estate agents and businesses.
