Oil price surges over terror fears

Oil prices surged to their highest level in 13 years yesterday amid fears of a terror campaign against the oil industry in the Middle East.

Traders responded to the weekend killing of five westerners working for an oil contractor in Saudi Arabia by sending the price of a barrel of crude to €29.16 ($35.21).
