Watch: Supervet to the rescue of stranded swan in Dublin

Hardly one to get in a flap when confronted with a wild animal, the "Supervet" turned superhero for a 'swandering' bird in central Dublin this afternoon.
Normally based in England, Noel Fitzpatrick, of the popular television programme "The Supervet" had winged his way to Dublin to do a series of interviews for his new book.
However, despite being in his gladrags rather than his veterinary scrubs, his innate love of animals meant he couldn't ignore a swan which had found itself dodging traffic on a busy road in Dublin's Donnybrook.
Halting traffic and spreading his arms and blazer wide, he managed to corral it onto and along the footpath.
He then used the aforementioned blazer to wrap up the bemused bird and carried it to the nearby canal where it happily flapped away.
Afterwards, he relayed his latest animal rescue on Twitter.
On route to the next interview in Dublin this afternoon and we came across this poor confused fella who was stuck in the middle of the main road. Having experienced many Swan rescues down the years I knew I could help... mission accomplished...now happy and safe at home x pic.twitter.com/wXoOIk8JKP
