Gardaí investigate pedestrian's road death in Limerick

Gardaí are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in County Limerick yesterday.

The man in his sixties was knocked down by a van at Ballaugh in Abbeyfeale at about 5pm last evening.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was taken to the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.

The driver of the van was uninjured.
