Quentin Tarantino has admitted battling depression in the three years since he made his last film, Jackie Brown.

“It was getting hard to do a lot of things,” Tarantino, whose new film, Kill Bill, is due out next month, tells the latest issue of Vanity Fair magazine. “I’ve been there when I’ve been the loser and it’s a lot better to be the winner.”
