New Bond film named

The title of the new Bond movie was announced today as 'Quantum of Solace'.

The name was revealed at a launch day at the famous Pinewood Studios, west of London, where filming began in November.

The hotly-anticipated movie, until now provisionally entitled Bond 22, stars British newcomer Gemma Arterton, 21, fresh out of drama school, who will play the role of MI6 Agent Fields.

Ukrainian model and actress Olga Kurylenko has been cast as the new Bond girl, the “dangerously alluring” Camille.

And 'Casino Royale' star Daniel Craig reprises his role as the famous spy.

Craig’s debut in the role gave the Bond franchise a new lease of life.
