Sentencing was adjourned by Judge Helen Boyle until Thursday at Cork Circuit Criminal Court.

 A man charged with threatening to kill a young woman where it is alleged that he texted another person saying that she was going to be tied, chopped and murdered, has pleaded guilty.

Ruairí Lally, aged 21, appeared at Cork Circuit Criminal Court where he was arraigned on the charge that on September 27, 2025, he made a threat to kill or cause serious harm to the young woman contrary to the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Person Act.
