Halt and Catch Fire season 3 promo is here!

Honestly, I'm pretty surprised that Halt and Catch Fire is still running. While it makes for compelling viewing mostly due to some great performances from the likes of Lee Pace and Kerry Bishé the audience numbers were incredibly low.

Season 2 averaged around 530,000 viewers per episode, which is peanuts compared to AMC stablemate The Walking Dead which topped out at more than 14 million for its latest season finale.

It's not really a fair comparison but the fact remains that very few people are watching, despite good to strong reviews and a general uptick in the dramatic stakes in season 2. Personally I find it a strange joy to watch despite the rather pedestrian plotting and mostly because you never quite know what Pace's Joe MacMillan is going to do next.
