Harrington looks to Euro tour

PÁDRAIG HARRINGTON says he will add a European tour event to his schedule after missing the cut at the Deutsche Bank Championship in Boston.

Harrington shot a 68 in his second round, for a level par total overall.

Harrington, a controversial wild card pick by Colin Montgomerie for the Ryder Cup, is desperate to improve his form before the showdown at Celtic Manor.

“As much as I’d like a break, I still want to be competitive going into the Ryder Cup,” he said.

“I’ll definitely play before now and the Ryder Cup. What are the three (European tournaments?) I don’t even know, I’ll have to have a look.”

The three events are the Dutch Open, Austrian Open and Vivendi Cup in Paris.
