How would you solve this dilemma?

Someone in Taiwan has given Facebook users a real poser.

This picture of a cupboard with a pile of plates leaning against the door was posted to Baoliao Commune, a Taiwan-based Facebook community, by Tseng Shao-Tsen who said it was "a cupboard that can never be opened".

Luckily for Tseng, who said it was a photo taken by a friend of his who is a stay-at-home mother, Facebook got on the case and a torrent of suggestions has come in after it was shared more than 16,000 times.

Some commenters had their own solutions for the household dilemma:

* Cut the glass near the door lock to put a tub of water beneath the plates to catch them.

* Break the glass above the plates and take them out through that.

* Drill a hole between the two cupboards big enough to take the plates out.

* Put blankets under the cupboard to catch the plates.

* Make sure you have household contents insurance and just open.

Thankfully, the cupboard door has since been opened with no plate casualties.

Tseng told MailOnline: "She opened one door slightly and used her hand to hold the plates, then she pushed the door further."
