Brexit: Who is in and who is out?

Brexit referendum is fast approaching and as the hours tick away to the all important vote a number of high profile names have publically lent their support to a side of the debate.

Here is who is voting what.

Benedict Cumberbatch, Helena Bonham Carter, Jude Law, Keira Knightly, Patrick Stewart and Richard Curtis along with 246 others have lent their support to the remain campaign.

An open letter, signed by 250 artists, was written to vocalise the sentiment of those who wish to remain in the EU.

JK Rowling

The accomplished author has been very vocal about her views about remaining in the EU.

Jeremy Clarkson and James May

A surprising advocate for the Remain campaign, Jeremy Clarkson and James May have released a very helpful tutorial about what they see as the pros and cons of Brexit.

Barack Obama

The leader of the United States has been very honest about his position with relation to Brexit, stating that he is firmly planted in the Remain campaign.

Richard Branson

Successful entrepreneur and founder of Virgin group, has strongly backed the Remain campaign saying leaving the EU would make business a lot more difficult in the UK.

The Irish Rock band have today shown their support for Britain to stay in the EU, saying Europe without Britain seems unimaginable.

Bob Geldof

An active advocate for the Remain campaign Bob Geldof made his views very clear recently while attacking Nigel Farage from a boat.

David and Victoria Beckham

David Beckham uploaded an Instagram post recently saying he was in favour of remaining in the EU. The post said: "For our children and their children we should be facing the problems of the world together and not alone."

Singer Elton John also took to Instagram to share his views on Brexit by very simply saying he was voting to remain in the EU.

Stephen Hawking

In a letter signed by 150 scientists the renowned physicist said Brexit would be a disaster for science.

Football manager Arsene Wenger and music producer Simon Cowell have also publically given their support to the Remain campaign.

The renowned actor has shared his views about the EU and the laws passed down saying a country cannot be tied to the laws made by hundreds of civil servants.

Katie Hopkins

The very outspoken columnist has shared her strong views on the Brexit campaign saying she is all for Britain standing out on their own.

John Cleese

The infamous funny man showed a more serious side recently by getting involved in the politics surrounding Brexit and tweeting his support to leave the EU.
