Boyfriend completes every girl’s dream with thoughtful home-made romantic gesture

Over 1 million people have liked a post by American author Demez White after he uploaded a picture of his back-yard set-up for a homely ’date’ with his girlfriend.

The post explained that his girlfriend had told him she had had a bad day and his bank account told him he was broke, so being resourceful he pulled together a romantic meal in his back garden.

The romance doesn’t stop there as he also made a make-shift couch in the back of his truck so they could enjoy some stargazing after their meal.

What a Romeo.

The writer shared his thoughts on the gesture saying: "Sometimes the best memories aren’t about the money we spend or the trips we take. They are about putting a genuine smile on someone’s face that you really care about."

Clearly the sentiment is something that resonated with a lot of people as it has been shared over half a million times and gathered 126,000 comments.

This guy is putting other men to shame with his genuine empathy for his girlfriend’s tough day and his efforts to cheer her up.
