PayPal set to add 100 more jobs at Dublin facility

The new jobs will contribute to bring the company’s total workforce in Ireland to 3,000 by 2018.
Currently the company employs over 2,400 here, roughly split equal between its bases in Dublin and Dundalk.
These new jobs, unrelated to previous job creation announcements, will be based in the company’s Global Operations Centre for Europe, the Middle East and Africa in Ballycoolin, Dublin.
The new jobs will be filled by the middle of next month and will largely be in English-speaking customer service roles.
In addition to these, PayPal also has a number of foreign language roles open to interested applicants.
The positions offer options to work day shifts, evening shifts, or night shifts and are open to candidates with varied work experience and qualifications.
PayPal Ireland chief, Louise Phelan said the announcement of further jobs is “a strong endorsement” of the quality of talent to be found in Ireland.
“Career opportunities at our diverse and multicultural offices in Ireland have never been better.
"We are particularly proud of the fact that many of the roles we create are suitable for unemployed people who we recruit from the live register.
“Our new teammates will join colleagues representing 40 nations and will be eligible for fantastic career, personal development, and training opportunities,” she added.
