Ryanair plane grounded in Poland after 'explosive substance' report
A Ryanair plane is being inspected at Warsaw Modlin airport in Poland this morning after reports of an explosive substance on board.
The plane had been due to take off for Oslo at 7.40am Irish time. However, security closed the airport as a precaution and an immediate inspection is being carried out.
The emergency was declared after an anonymous call that there was an explosive device on board.
Passengers had not yet boarded the flight.
In a statement, Ryanair said authorities believe the report was a hoax.
